Your 35 million is probably a subset of the 46 million and the average number of passengers is probably 2.5 so call it 18.4 million drivers (46M/2.5). Say we sell to ten percent of 18.4M drivers, or 1.84 million. If profits are $80 each (40%x$200) then total profit is $147,200,000 (1.84Mx$80).
And then I love doing this. If we ONLY sell to ONE PERCENT of the holiday drivers... 184,000 drivers times $200 then REVENUE equals $36,800,000. Again. One percent of the holiday drivers represents $36,800,000 revenues. Mary would call this the one unit revenue guy paragraph. heh.
Who thinks Steve is only going to equip one percent of US drivers? Then consider that to some extent state and federal laws are going to make distracted driving technology compulsory and insurance companies are going to compensate customers for using the tech. Boggles the mind.
