$RVXCF has "almost" unbelievable potential
RVXCF is up to $2.40 from the $1.64 it started at when we last picked our stocks here...that's a gain of 46.3% but in my not always so humble opinion, this could be just the start .
I say that Resverlogix's potential is "almost" unbelievable because I think more experienced Biotech players know the kinds of dollars that ground breaking drugs can fetch, deals in the billions are not uncommon at all.
I know this board is mostly for incredibly low priced OTC stocks, stocks trading in and around a penny and a lot of sub pennies...stocks with massive volumes that are ideal for scalping for a quick in and out.
RVXCF is not a stock to be scalped in my opinion, the volumes are too low....its already tightly held with Chinese Pharma Giant Shenzhen Hepalink already owning about 43 %. Billionaire Kenneth Dart comes it at about 20% through his investment company Eastern Capital.
The reason for the excitement is Apabetalone, a drug in Phase III trial for patients with insulin dependent diabetes who are at very high risk of a Major Adverse Cardiac Event (MACE for short). There are also subsets of patients who, on top of Diabetes also suffer from Kidney disease, and individuals over 70 who suffer from cognitive impairment.
Resverlogix is hoping to show that Apabetalone will reduce the time to a Major Adverse Cardiac event and improve cognitive function in patients with symptoms of Alzheimer's.
So there are 3 huge indications right there. Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Alzheimers. And that could be just the start.
Pfizer , who everyone knows about due to Viagara.....they've recognized the potential for Resverlogix's Apabetalone to treat a rare condition involving deterioartion of the nervous system.

I can see Resverlogix's Market Cap going into the billions if their trial succeeds, the results are now due inside of 6 months.
One more point......
Yes RVXCF is an OTC stock....which means it doesn't have a listing in the United States currently. The stock is listed on Canada's big board Toronto Stock Exchange, however news just came out that they're going to be seeking a listing in the U.S.
Advising them on this is Rothschild & Co , which is hugely significant in my books. I don't think a firm of Rothschild & Co's stature would take on a thinly traded little Canadian biotech as a client if there wasn't at least huge potential.

Well....if you're used to getting stock picks from tout sheets and those free email blasting shops that brag about sure winners....oh well, Resverlogix is more of a walk softly and carry a big stick type of company from everything I've seen.
