PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rubrik, the Cloud Data Management company, today announced that Polaris SaaS application, Radar, has received two Best of VMworld 2018 Awards: the Gold Award for Security and Best of Show. This marks the third year in a row that Rubrik has won Gold at VMworld, as well as the second year in a row that Rubrik has won Best of Show.
The Best of VMworld 2018 U.S. Awards recognize the most innovative new products in the server virtualization, cloud, and end-user computing markets. An independent team of judges consisting of experts and editors from SearchServerVirtualization.com reviewed and evaluated 75 products for innovation, value, performance, reliability, and ease of use.
Judges for the Security category commented that Radar showed Rubrik “gave serious thought to security and ransomware monitoring in the data protection space.” Built on the Polaris SaaS platform, Radar empowers enterprises to respond faster to security attacks by delivering deep intelligence on how an attack impacted their business-critical application data.
