My MacBook Pro is a 2011 model. Never had any issue with it whatsoever. They outdated when new operating systems are downloaded or updated. Mine failed the video board diagnostic and wouldn’t boot up. Because it is 7 years old, they don’support it anymore. In other words,there is no part to fix it with. Now, as an aapl stockholder(all time high today) I’m elated at the biz, as a consumer, it sucks. My $2000 laptop is a paper weight. I can’t go back to windows systems now. I’m hooked.
