I'm unable to Record CNBC as my Spectrum Internet and Cable Guide is outhe and can't set up recordings.
I called Spectrum Tech Support.
What a fiasco that was and I felt the need to write the person in charge "Executive Vice President of Customer Service at Charter Communications".
Was I Justified to do so or not? After having paid somewhere between $30K - $51K to Brighthouse/Spectrum over the years:
I'm tethering my Cell Phone to my Tablet to access the Internet currently.

My Internet went out Saturday Aug. 25 in the afternoon, along with my Cable TV Guide, I I called Tech Support, the technician was great as usual, after we checked the Basics on the Modem, the Tech could not see my Modem. At which point he said he could not see both my Neighbors modems either. And I scheduled a Service Appointment.
When the Service Tech? Elijah arrived at 6:05pm, On Time, he wanted to enter my home to check my Equipment. I explained I do not let strangers into my home, and that the tech I spoke with said my neighbors on both sides was out also, and that My Equipment does not feed my Neighbors. Homes.
He said "I'm just telling how I do my Job", then he turned and walked away.
I stated he's welcome to check the Cable entering my home and if the signal was not weak, he could come in. But he got in his vehicle and left. I'm still without Internet Service
I am a Network Engineer at the Kennedy Space Center, and have a Cisco CCNP/CCND Certification.
I feel this type of Service Call is unacceptable, especially as a17 Year Customer of Brighthouse/Spectrum.
Calling tech support in the past by phone has resolved my issues usally with a Modem reset signal, when Spectrum Tech support has come to my house in the past, the first thing they do is check the signal where the Cable enters my home then climb the telephone pole and check the equipment there and my cable TV and Internet is repaired.
It is a 90 feet from the pole to my home, in the past a Tech installed a Signal Amplifier in my Garage. And told me as long as the Power light was on, it's working, which I checked before calling for a Tech Support Truck Roll.
Your assistance in resolving this matter, would be greatly appreciated.
