***PKTX...Dear Protokinetix Investors...Over the years as an investor with Protokinetix, I have had the opportunity to witness many of PKTX's medical research projects using it's molecule..AAGP.. I try to do my own research to understand more about about these projects..
...PKTX latest PR News Release(August 10, 2018)"ProtoKinetix Enters into 3rd Phase of Retinal Cell Replacement Therapy Testing at UBC" .. Was an eye opener after starting to dig for more information on this on-going research with Macular Degeneration..
...One part of my search I found something that was very, very interesting..... Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of vision loss, affecting more than 10 million Americans – more than cataracts and glaucoma combined. At present, Macular Degeneration is considered an incurable eye disease.
....That part of the statement is Very Hard Hitting..."AT PRESENT, Macular Degeneration is considered an incurable eye disease".
...With Dr. Gregory-Evans and his research team working at the Gregory-Evans Retinal Therapeutics Lab(University of British Columbia)...Presently working on the Third(3rd)Phase to identify new ways of treating common retinal diseases, such as macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa. This work will focus on novel cell-based therapeutic strategies in model systems (e.g. rodents models of eye disease) and clinical trials. We are undertaking a number of projects to look at how cells can be used to replace damaged retinal tissue and also new ways that cells can be used to deliver and secrete drugs long-term into the diseased retina to prevent further decline of vision.
****Folks...Does this Not tell you something......That Protokinetix's molecule...AAGP....... Works..!
...People...(IMHO)...I've said it once and I'll say it again....Protokinetix will Be the Next Microsoft of the Biotech World(Everybody will Want It and Need it)..!
