I tell you what A.C., your quick-thinking mind is

I am reminded of the story from back in Olde England, when famous wit, Oscar Wilde, would host the King himself. Wilde could impersonate, or mimic, many of his well known guests, and Wilde enjoyed using this skill in an effort to get some of his peers in trouble for insulting King George.
On one particular evening, Wilde, standing to the side unnoticed, and doing his best impersonation of his friend and writer, George Bernard Shaw, and his Scottish brogue, shouted out: “Your Majesty is like a stream of bat piss!”
Following the horrified gasps of Ladies, and the murmurs of shocker Gents who quickly identified Shaw as the person who spoke the insulting phrase, a bush descended upon the room, as the King confronted the hard-drinking Scotsman.
“Well, Shaw.....?”
Always the wit, and in his most deferential tone, George Bernard Shaw replied: “You see, I merely meant, Your Majesty..... that you shine out, like a shaft of gold, when all around is dark!”
