This is pure speculation on my part.
Did anyone notice that in the recent QMC PR that Solterra Renewable Technologies was in bold font and underlined? Sure, it was a hyperlink but if you're promoting QMC why give so much attention to its subsidiary?
Everyone is anticipating that Steve will announce a big contract to supply a display manufacturer or a contract to supply a film manufacturer. What if the big contract announcement will be for solar cell manufacturer? Let's face it, the big focus on this board has been display. Display will be the initial in roads for QDX.
Even though the process train at San Marcos can pump out 4 metric tons per year, that's not close to what the display industry is going to demand. The latest shareholder report discussed how Steve is pursuing a licensing agreement with a major chemical company. That license agreement will be what feeds the display industry. The licensee with deep pockets will set up a dozen trains in short order to quickly solidify the era of QA TVs.
So what happens with the production from Star Park? China is going big for solar. You'd need a quantum dot manufacturer who's cleared the government hurdles to be able to ship product overseas. You'd also need an accounting firm who has experience in international business. Sound like anyone you know?
