MoSys Expands Sales Channel for Government Solutions

MoSys partners with Clark Street Associates to address growing opportunity for high-speed data processing and compute acceleration in government and military applications

SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MoSys, Inc.  (NASDAQ: MOSY), a provider of semiconductor solutions that enable fast, intelligent data access for cloud networking, security, test and video systems, announced that the company has expanded its sales channel to focus on the growing opportunities in the government sector for high-speed compute and data processing applications.   All sectors of the industry are challenged with addressing critical memory bottlenecks caused by the combination of higher speed data throughput, increasing data processing and compute requirements across applications ranging from networking and security to artificial intelligence and machine learning. Clark Street Associates, with its close partnerships with government agencies and infrastructure, will expand MoSys’ visibility and access to opportunities in these areas.

Clark Street Associates provides business development, strategy, marketing and contracting focused on aligning highly differentiated partner technology companies to government agencies and contractors.   MoSys’ unique Bandwidth Engine® family of serial memory products delivers both memory bandwidth and high access rates to solve critical bottlenecks in high-speed applications.  The new Programmable Search Engine expands on the concept by integrating 32 programmable cores with serial high-speed memory to enable in-memory algorithm acceleration.  MoSys’ technology is already proven in a wide range of FPGA and ASSP-based applications in the commercial market, and now Clark Street and MoSys are partnering to identify and pursue government applications that can benefit from this innovative technology.

“Clark Street Associates combines a unique combination of technical acumen, government understanding and business development expertise,” said John Monson, VP of sales and marketing at MoSys. “We believe there is a wide range of government and military applications that can benefit from our proven technology, and we are excited to partner with Clark Street to increase and accelerate our opportunities in this market segment.”

MoSys’ Bandwidth Engine and Programmable Search Engine products are available today and are supported by a proven ecosystem across multiple generations of FPGA families from Intel/Altera, Xilinx and others.   The technology can also be incorporated for use with ASSP and custom products.
