Who is Sterling Crockett the founder of AGRiMED, and why should we pay attention?

Crockett got his start as a consultant, investing a mere $100 in starting up his business. That investment grew slowly into a full-service construction business worth more than $12 million (way back in 2009).

Crockett sees the work he did on the Pentagon renovations project as a major turning point. The company was also fortunate enough to secure work doing repairs for government buildings after Hurricane Katrina.

Sterling Construction Services Inc. is now recognized as one of the leading small business contracting companies. It is one of the partners on the construction of the Defense Information Systems Agency’s new headquarters. After seeing his words of wisdom translated into success, Crockett’s father is definitely proud.
Sterling Crockett is a visionary leader offering over 30 years of innovative, imperative business practices that create value and masterfully inspire teams to high performance in meeting complex challenges. Crockett is a strategic industrialist whose thoughtful leadership, decisive insight, and experience as chair of five corporations and agencies has made meaningful impacts on corporate governance, infrastructure, and community mentorship on local, national, and international levels.

Sterling Crockett assumed the position of General Manager for GTI-Maryland, leading GTI's diversity efforts to secure investments from minority investors, economic benefit, and the campaign to build a medical cannabis cultivation facility in Washington County, Maryland. In October of 2016, He joined with colleagues to found AGRiMED Industries, LLC. AGRiMED’s mission is to perform high quality cultivation, processing and research for medical cannabis and industrial HEMP.

Committed to aiding our nation’s troops, Mr. Crockett has served as Chairman, Senior Financial Officer, and Board Treasurer for R4 Incorporated, a multi-specialty company that services disabled veteran-owned contractors and yields engineering, equipment, and field support in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, and Africa. Overseeing more than 300 employees, his work has fostered an invigorating strategy for immediate and long-term growth, relationships in legislative government and business community partnerships, and secured a $16.5 billion contract.

Sterling Crockett is also the founder of The Coulson Agency, named in honor of his father, Coulson Crockett, who first introduced him to the foundations of entrepreneurship and strong work ethic. The Coulson Agency engages in business consulting, mentorship and direct investment of young organizations to help ensure their success.

R4 Incorporated provides training and fielding solutions for war fighters and first responders in the United States and internationally. The company offers logistics and operational support, systems engineering and integration, program management, and prototype development and fabrication, as well as new equipment training, configurations engineering management, homeland security, and research and development services. It also provides police tactical training, curriculum design and development, and instructional services support; hardware/software installation; and advisory and assistance services, including supervision, labor, incidental materials, and travel. The company serves homeland security, law enforcement, and public safety industries. R4 Incorporated was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Eatontown, New Jersey.
