Crockett got his start as a consultant, investing a mere $100 in starting up his business. That investment grew slowly into a full-service construction business worth more than $12 million (way back in 2009).
Crockett sees the work he did on the Pentagon renovations project as a major turning point. The company was also fortunate enough to secure work doing repairs for government buildings after Hurricane Katrina.

Sterling Crockett assumed the position of General Manager for GTI-Maryland, leading GTI's diversity efforts to secure investments from minority investors, economic benefit, and the campaign to build a medical cannabis cultivation facility in Washington County, Maryland. In October of 2016, He joined with colleagues to found AGRiMED Industries, LLC. AGRiMED’s mission is to perform high quality cultivation, processing and research for medical cannabis and industrial HEMP.
Committed to aiding our nation’s troops, Mr. Crockett has served as Chairman, Senior Financial Officer, and Board Treasurer for R4 Incorporated, a multi-specialty company that services disabled veteran-owned contractors and yields engineering, equipment, and field support in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, and Africa. Overseeing more than 300 employees, his work has fostered an invigorating strategy for immediate and long-term growth, relationships in legislative government and business community partnerships, and secured a $16.5 billion contract.
Sterling Crockett is also the founder of The Coulson Agency, named in honor of his father, Coulson Crockett, who first introduced him to the foundations of entrepreneurship and strong work ethic. The Coulson Agency engages in business consulting, mentorship and direct investment of young organizations to help ensure their success.
R4 Incorporated provides training and fielding solutions for war fighters and first responders in the United States and internationally. The company offers logistics and operational support, systems engineering and integration, program management, and prototype development and fabrication, as well as new equipment training, configurations engineering management, homeland security, and research and development services. It also provides police tactical training, curriculum design and development, and instructional services support; hardware/software installation; and advisory and assistance services, including supervision, labor, incidental materials, and travel.
