New York, NY, Aug. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silverline, a Salesforce Platinum Consulting Firm headquartered in New York City, and PepUp Tech, a non-profit organization bringing computer science and technology programs to underserved communities, announced today a new strategic partnership through Silverline’s Philanthropy Initiative, Silverline Cares.
The partnership between Silverline and PepUp Tech will ensure that bright, motivated, underserved students have the skills, mentors, and confidence needed to begin careers in technology. PepUp Tech’s scalable model of workforce development benefits thousands of young people and the technology industry as a whole. Through the partnership, Silverline will be giving a grant to PepUp Tech, along with laptop donations that will be used in their brand new STEAM labs. Silverline will also be a lead sponsor at PepUp Tech’s Dreamforce event in San Francisco this September.

Silverline employees have been volunteering with PepUp Tech’s annual Bootcamps and will continue to support the organization through sponsoring events, contributing towards PepUp Tech’s STEAM lab, funding scholarships, and continuing to use their Volunteer Time Off policy to work with the students. Silverline employees will be on hand to mentor and coach the students to prepare for job interviews. Just recently, two PepUp Tech student alumni joined Silverline through its Silverline Academy program.
