Rosetta Stone Hires Seasoned Technology Executive

Arlington, VA, Aug. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rosetta Stone Inc. (NYSE: RST), a world leader in technology-based learning solutions, today welcomed Jerry Huang as Senior Vice President with responsibility over the Company’s Language international expansion strategy. In this role, Jerry will report to Matt Hulett, Rosetta Stone’s President of Language.

With over 20 years of technology leadership experience across the edtech and consumer retail industries, Huang will focus on the strategy for Rosetta Stone outside of North America. Most recently, Huang was the Global Chief Operating Officer at iTutorGroup, a Shanghai-based leader in online English language learning valued at over $1 billion. He was responsible for strategy and growth of iTutorGroup’s online platform and education operations, which included managing over 25,000 tutors in 80 countries around the world.

Huang joins other recent senior hires, including Christine Chambers, who is the Vice President of Finance; Roya Salehi, who is the Vice President of Literacy Customer Success; Greg Spils, who recently joined the Company’s Language business as the Vice President of Product; and Dan Holmes, who is the Senior Vice President of the Education and Enterprise Language Sales and Marketing. Including Huang, these executives add over 100 years of combined e-commerce and SaaS experience representing blue-chip companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Gartner, and more. With these new hires on board, Rosetta Stone is propelling growth and innovation.
