This may come off as weird, but it’s a mentality. My prior professional career I was a firefighter. Jason knows this about me from talking to him. But so is Jason! I don’t know if it’s pride, ego, or whatever, but when our reputations are on the line and you hear a firefighter talk a big game for their plans... we mean it! In the past I wrote that on one of his comments and he “liked” it. Now does that mean anything, no not really..... but it’s an acknowledgement from one firefighter to another. I don’t know if this makes sense to anyone reading this or if it matters, but this is how we acknowledge each other and our statements.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m tired of not getting anything significant. But at some point this will happen for us! He obviously isn’t controlling his thing. It’s too big for one to be able too, but I do find value in his word with him being a firefighter. He clearly still holds that pride of being one with it being listed on his credentials.
Again, this might not mean anything to anyone here, but it’s a way of thinking that we have.
