Five Mohammeds and others charged for abusing girls as young as 12 in Huddersfield, UK

Switzerland is in shock over the brutal beating of five women, aged 22 to 33 in front of club Geneva’s Petit Palace. Two of the women are seriously injured; one was even left in a coma and is still in critical condition, Blick reports.

A Geneva woman was near the Petit Palace on the evening of the fight. She tells Blick that she talked to one of the attackers before the attack.

“He was the only one on crutches that evening, it was unusual,” says the woman. According to the newspaper, the perpetrator is said to have hit the women with crutches.

The Geneva woman describes the alleged perpetrator a 20-22 year old man with Maghrebian (North African) roots. He was “a bit muscular” and had bleached hair. She is certain: “He definitely does not come from Geneva.”

The attack on the women occurred between the ‘Petit Palace’ and the ‘Place des Trois-Perdrix’. Suddenly people came running to tell the bouncers that the women had been beaten. When help arrived, two women were seen lying on the ground, one in a pool of blood.

According to a local newspaper, initially only one man attacked a woman. When an uninvolved group of party-goers rushed to her aid, several of the man’s friends intervened and beat the other women.

The men gave blows and kicks, even against the head when the victims were already on the ground. The thugs were then beaten by three Kosovars and fled, says the head of the club, Fabrice Graf, to Le Matin Dimanche.

The staff of the Petit Palace is still very shocked. “There was no sign of escalation during the evening,” Graf said. No one knew the perpetrators.

In the Geneva attack, the prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal investigation. The police are looking for witnesses and evidence from people who witnessed the attack or caught it on video.

The perpetrators are still being sought in France. Pierre Fillard, deputy prosecutor of the Republic of Annecy, confirms to news outlet “20 minutes” that a request has been received from the Geneva authorities.

She “refers to the search for suspects”. According to eyewitnesses, the perpetrators are said to have taken off in a car with French registration.

Four Syrians brutally rob severely demented German pensioner and his wife in their home at night

A trial begins against four Syrians in Bielefeld on Monday 14 August. The men are accused of a robbery at the house of an 83-year-old pensioner and his 82-year-old wife, German tabloid Bild reports.

In November last year, the men robbed the elderly couple on the Tiegstraße in Hörste.

The men accused all have Syrian nationality: Hakki R. (22), Kahnioahr S. (32), Wasim T. (31), and Shwan E. (23). The prosecutor accuses the men of robbing the elderly couple in their apartment in Hörste.

While a man in front of the house is believed to have said “Go”, the other perpetrators are said to have broken open a patio window and entered the couple’s bedroom.

The culprits surprised Erika S. and her dementia-afflicted husband while they slept. They are said to have dragged the woman out of bed and tied her to a chair and taped her mouth. She was left this way.

A perpetrator is said to have asked the wife to hand over money and threatened her, among other things, with a knife. The remaining perpetrators searched the house for money.

According to the investigators, the husband was bedridden due to illness and unresponsive. Ultimately, the perpetrators only took 160 euros in cash and fled the house.

In February this year, the Gütersloh police identified the five alleged perpetrators and believe the five Syrian men planned and committed the crime together.
Mobile phone tracking data led the investigators on the trail of the suspects. It was found that the men’s phones were dialed into a radio cell close to the scene of the crime last night.

The trial will continue on the 20th and 27th of August, as well the 3rd, 5th, 6th, 12th, 14th and 26th of September are scheduled as further trial dates.
