The DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) must reschedule the designation of CBD under the Controlled Substances Act. CBD is currently listed under Schedule 1, a classification reserved for substances that have no recognized medical value and a high potential for abuse. The FDA claims that process should be complete sometime within the next 90 days. I suggest there will be a big push after the November mid-terms.
