GenSure was done to compete with Lifescan's OneTouch Select product, their product that is sold as a cheaper alternative to OneTouch Ultra, primarily in the 3rd world. OneTouch Select is not sold in the U.S. OneTouch Select is another 20+ year old Lifescan technology and the DECN GenSure was made possible by the victory in the first Lifescan lawsuits. You remember these lawsuits, the ones that DECN kept secret from its shareholders.
