SEC filings unfortunately remain a challenge. Many hemp/marijuana/cannabis companies have been shutdown by federal agents after filing with the SEC even with legalization by state governments. With recent legalization acceptance from the Senate ( Post 840 , Post 841 , Post 842 ), the House is onboard to finalize the full legalization of Industrial Hemp and its removal of its schedule 1 drug listing.
Hemp Inc has been very forthcoming and transparent with their business which is good for everyone. While they haven't recently filed with the SEC, full disclosure is still available via http://hempinc.com/financial-disclosures/
