"Get ready for a massive government spending spree" Title of a Next Gov article by Frank Konkel, Executive Director, dated 8/8/18. "Analyst believe the Federal market will see a monumental effort among procurement officials to spend as much on contracts (before the 8/30 end of the Federal FY) as possible." In numerous posts I have mentioned the Federal procurement cycle. Procurement officers are running out of time to obligate funds before turning the residual back to Treasury. Consequently, the two questions in my mind are: How much will be spent on McAfee software in accordance with the Federal order to replace all Kapersky Lab products due to their potential threat to internal cyber security? Just how big will SFOR's slice of the Federal pie from all this be? Any guesses? IMHO with our McAfee connection we have hitched our wagon to a rising star in the Federal Government!
