$RIBT 19% holder of RIBT, Continental Grain bought another 232,200 shares this week, about $594,752. CG is a private company like Cargill, bur much smaller. They have operations in the US and Asia. The first shares they bought they signed on that they would not buy the company. I can guess they could vote for another buyer however. RIBT has a deal with Wilmar International to produce rice bran protein at all of Wilmar's and subsidiaries rice mills in China. They put up 45% of the capital and get 45% of the profits. This idle deal is a great carrot for an Asian company to want to buy RIBT. CG is not in for a double, but their only way out without ruining the stock price is with a partnership with a big company or buyout. And I doubt they want twait a lot of years either. CG might already have a buyer or big money partner in mind.

The plant protein trend is getting huge. RIBT does not have the money to take advantage of it now, but they have the framework.

Just speculating.

The two big buys were EOD, one might get in early and make a a bit?
