PLAYA VISTA, Calif., Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Premium Water Corporation (OTC Pink:HIPH) (the “Company”) announces that the Company filed for intellectual property protection on August 7th in advance of the launch of LALPINA Hydro CBD on August 27th. This step will ensure the Company is safeguarded when it releases its market front running CBD products later this month. The Company also named David Schechtmann as President.
Ryan Fishoff, CEO of American Premium Water Corporation, commented, “The Company has filed the IP for LALPINA CBD products. Mr. Schechtmann, who has advised the Company since shortly after its inception as American Premium Water in 2013, is a licensed lawyer in two states. Mr. Schechtmann will begin his position effective August 9th. In addition to his time advising the Company over the past five years, he has worked in a number of branding and social capabilities. His experience and abilities are a tremendous addition to the Company’s management team. Mr. Schechtmann will report directly to CEO Ryan Fishoff.

The Company first announced its creation of a CBD prototype during the week of Super Bowl LII. CBD, the natural phytocannabinoid extracted from cannabis, is extracted from the stalk of a hemp plant and must have less than 0.3 percent THC, which allows it to be sold in states where cannabis isn’t legal.
