Re: AlanC #4051
they all collude .. this has been done by numerous *firms* over the years .. so when an OTC target gets taken too low .. what CEs' do is not allow buys .. only sells .. now who exactly does that *enable* (aid and abet) .. yep exactly

this is just one reason why OTC targets get forced into *actions*

i know for a fact that one current OTC Survivor could not be bought via a *firm* when their stock price went below 10c .. this is why mgmts' awareness is key *imo* re: illegal stock manipulation

Found this post made on the NTEK board to be interesting. Is Merrill under scrutiny or is something in the works?

I got an interesting call from my Merrill Edge account representative. As of September 30th they will no longer let account holders purchase a OTC stock that's less than $3 /share.

More importantly they will no longer let me sell any stocks I already own like NTEK that is trading at less than $3 a share.

He said I would have to move it to another brokerage firm that will allow me to sell it, but, most of the larger brokerage firms are following suit.

This might help slaughter the naked shorts modus operandi.

As for me I'm not moving NTEK because I have no plans on selling as I am a long time shareholder. I also believe someday we will surpass the $3 mark.

After Sept 30th I will have to find another firm if I want to continue to add NTEK shares to my portfolio

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm
