SAN JOSE, CA, Aug. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sonasoft Corp. (OTCPK: SSFT), a leader in providing innovative eDiscovery and email archiving solutions, announces that it has appointed Hal Faden, an eDiscovery subject matter expert (SME), to its Advisory Board. This expertise will allow the Company to expand its consulting business model to include eDiscovery services for enterprise-level and medium-sized organizations, as well as, enhance future product capabilities of SonaVault eDiscovery and Email Archiving Software.
“Sonasoft now has one of the industry’s leading eDiscovery subject-matter experts on its team,” said Andy Khanna, CEO of Sonasoft. “Hal Faden is one of those rare professionals that has mastered both the theoretical and practical applications of an eDiscovery implementation. With over 20 years of eDiscovery experience, Hal knows how to address the different stakeholders, which include corporate legal, IT, and records management, and address their issues and gain their trust. Hal recently concluded a successful three-year, multimillion-dollar eDiscovery implementation for the corporate legal department for one of California’s oldest and largest quasi-state agencies. Hal has a long and successful history of making it happen, and we couldn’t have a better person to lead us in these services and improve our product offering.”
“Sonasoft will now offer its clients a solid mix of services and products to successfully implement solutions to federal and state mandated eDiscovery regulations,” said Hal Faden, SME on eDiscovery and Sonasoft Board Advisor. “Sonasoft’s total end-to-end, full-spectrum, EDRM offering is vital to preserve and collect relevant data for anticipated and ongoing litigation. It’s the law.”
“All companies,” continued Hal Faden, “both public and private organizations, no matter how large or small, must comply with regulatory obligations. No one is exempt. The danger for noncompliance is too great. Not only is there a risk of court imposed monetary sanctions, penalties, and horrific fines, which can exceed hundreds of millions of dollars, but, in some circumstances, a judge can even preclude a party from relying on evidence it failed to provide to the other side in a timely manner.”
“I am excited to contribute to Sonasoft’s eDiscovery program and guide it to success,” said Hal Faden. “Once clients implement the Sonasoft solution, they will have the in-house capabilities to electronically preserve, collect, process, review, analyze, produce documents, and export these files to a universally accepted data load file format, such as Relativity, Concordance, etc. This will allow the data to be ingested into existing eDiscovery solutions that are already in use by outside law firms and opposing counsel. Sonasoft is in a unique position to deliver huge cost savings and benefits that positively impact not only corporate legal but will also contribute to the overall bottom-line of an organization’s balance sheet. I look forward to bringing additional value and contributions to Sonasoft’s eDiscovery solution.”
Further announcements from the Company can be expected in the coming weeks as corporate and technology-specific initiatives continue to develop and finalize.
