Don't think McAfee was slow on the uptake. IMHO McAfee used the historic adoption of new tech by the DOD (recall the 9/14/17 ARMY contract) to field test SFOR IP before its release for sale into the civilian market. Smart move on McAfee management's part. With 1.4 million endpoints & the ARMY's global IT infrastructure as a proving ground McAfee is now utterly confident in SFOR IP IMHO.
