Tons of people always cry that gaps have to be filled. My experience is very limited but I don't see a reason that they HAVE to be. Price declining happens when people sell on the bid... so if you have a lot of people who are waiting for a gap up to sell for a quick profit, sure, the gap may be filled but it doesn't necessarily have to.
