(OTCQB: EVIO), a leading provider of cannabis testing and scientific research for the regulated cannabis industry, this morning announced that its licensee, PhytaTech CO, has been awarded Certification for Pesticide Analysis in the State of Colorado. Per the update, PhytaTech received ISO 17025 certification, which is the highest recognized quality standard in the world for calibration and testing laboratories. “While pesticide testing is not state-mandated, we predict that it will be in the following months as the focus continues towards consumer safety and ensuring that products are clean and of the highest quality,” Stephen Goldman, laboratory director of PhytaTech, stated in the news release. “Pesticide residues are an extremely important public safety issue and something that has been plaguing the industry for years.
