Mr. Welch stated, "We are very excited about our new relationship with former newscaster Jeff Crilley and his Real News PR public relations firm. Last week, they scheduled me on In the Know with Brian Glenn on 620 AM KEXB Experts in Business. On Tuesday, they scheduled back to back interviews in our Rocky Mountain High Brands corporate offices with reporters from television stations CBS11 and CW33. Overall, we were pleased with the exposure, however, the CBS11 report contained some inaccurate information that needs further clarification:
-- The reporter named me as the owner of Rocky Mountain High Brands, versus
indicating that it is a publicly traded company.
-- The approximate investment that the Company has made in launching our
hemp-derived CBD brand was implied to be my personal investment versus a
corporate investment.
-- The reporter said that I was unaware of what the Texas law is, which is
an inaccurate statement."
Mr. Welch continued, "The Company made the decision to engage Jeff Crilley and Real News PR after being approached by several public relations firms. In the past, the Company has worked with public relations firms that could not meet our desired goals. By choosing the best public relations firm, we believe that we can increase exposure of the Company, its brands, and its products to consumers, investors, and shareholders."
Mr. Welch concluded, "Rocky Mountain High Brands has a great story to tell as evidenced by the media interest in the nation's fifth largest television market. We believe that Jeff Crilley and his team are the perfect fit to take our consumer awareness campaign to the next level."
About Jeff Crilley:
Jeff Crilley retired from TV news after 25 years in the business to start the country's first "all journalist" PR firm. During his career he made hundreds of national news appearances including CNN, CNN Headline News, FOX News, The Discovery Channel, Good Morning America and The CBS Early Show.
