If RMHB has decided that Michael Welch should be the public face of RMHB, I think they're making a mistake. Nothing against Michael, he seems like a solid business executive and an honest and decent guy, but I think we can probably agree that he doesn't exactly come across as Mister Charisma. A company's spokesperson needs to sparkle; he or she has to project enthusiasm about the company and its products, and more broadly, they have to bring that special sauce of inner vitality to the segment. The little I've seen of John Blackington suggests that he delivers better here than Michael. I'd vote for him as an interim 'face,' and as soon as there's money for it I'd hire a communications pro who was an ace at sparkling and scintillating as the voice and face of the company.
