Los Angeles, CA, July 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bow Street Capital announced today that the seven-story downtown Los Angeles office building it purchased in December of 2017 will reopen in November as “Green Street,” a creative office space dedicated exclusively to the fast-growing cannabis industry.

Sean Beddoe, founder and President of Santa Monica-based Bow Street Capital, said the 67,000 square foot building, at 718 South Hill Street, will include several floors of communal or co-working space, private office suites, a rooftop amenity deck, an art gallery, retail space and a 5,000 square foot restaurant – all dedicated to serving providers and consumers of cannabis-related products.

Green Street Agency, a branding and business development consultancy serving companies in the cannabis industry, will be the flagship tenant, leasing three full floors.

Vicente Sederberg LLC, a national law firm based in Denver that calls itself “The Marijuana Law Firm,” is leasing a floor.

More than a dozen cannabis-focused early-stage and start-up ventures have signed up for space in the co-working area.

Green Street Agency, in addition to lending its name to the building, is a minority investor and has been deeply involved in the project’s conceptualization and planning, said Beddoe. “They have been the ideal partner for the reinvention of this historic structure,” he said. “They have a deep understanding of today’s cannabis industry, and a real vision for its future. And they, like we, are very excited at the opportunity to contribute to the revitalization of a century-old Los Angeles landmark and the downtown neighborhood.”

Rama Mayo, President of Green Street Agency, said, “With this project, Los Angeles will be home to the very first cannabis business campus, which will be a center for professional services, product development, innovation, entrepreneurship and cross-branding opportunities that will further accelerate the growth of the incredibly dynamic industry we are proud to serve.”

M-Rad Architecture, of Los Angeles, is overseeing the redesign of the building, which was constructed in 1913 and for over a century was a center for the jewelry manufacturing industry.
