It's also easy to do when a number of other people would prefer to believe it. It just feels better to have a conspiratorial scapegoat than accept that one was early to the IPIX show.
If you see three consecutive days of declining volume with short volume >50% then you likely will have FTDs (or the conspiratorial hiding of such). Outside that occurrence which is very rare, little can be drawn from the short volume numbers.
I encourage everyone to research short volume and what it means. It doesn't really matter in the end though.
