TROVE Posts Strong H1 2018 Results by Helping Clients Find Value in Their Data and Embrace Predictive Data Science

BUFFALO, N.Y., July 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TROVE , the predictive data science company, today announced it secured contracts with six new clients and completed several important projects, while also expanding its scope of work, across its client base on the way to a company record-setting H1 2018. New wins in the financial services and supply chain industries – firsts for TROVE – complemented the company’s pace-setting data science work with electric and gas utilities as it continues to apply “deep-learning” and other advanced predictive data science techniques to help clients discover more efficient ways to run their businesses and better engage with customers and prospects.

“Predictive data science is still in its infancy in the enterprise,” said Ted Schultz, CEO of TROVE. “While companies have been busy hiring data scientists, the enterprise often struggles with how to get started applying data science in a way that drives meaningful results and justifies the investment. That’s where TROVE’s Agile Data Science methodology has made the biggest difference.

“While we have successfully developed, and continue to improve upon, our enterprise-class data science platform and Solver technologies for handling data at scale, we know clients need more than software to be successful with data science. They need an experienced team and an agile approach that helps them identify, and address, the right opportunities fast, building quickly on successes to create real, measurable value across the business.”

TROVE’s key accomplishments in H1 2008 include:

  1. Four new utility client wins , advancing TROVE’s stronghold in the utilities market among marquee brands.
  2. The company’s first client wins in financial services and supply chain , extending TROVE’s reach into receptive new data-intensive markets ripe for making data useful through the power of predictive data science.
  3. Deployment of an industry-first Transmission & Distribution Solver Suite at a major mid-Atlantic utility, which is driving millions of dollars of efficiencies for the client in the areas of work order management, grid maintenance, and grid and asset reliability and safety, while leading to new client wins.

Concluded Schultz: “Things are beginning to click here at TROVE. We’ve learned a lot over the last two years about what clients really want from predictive data science and what they need to get them there. As a result, we have made adjustments and are helping solve clients’ business problems better, winning many converts along the way who are liking what they are seeing and rewarding us with larger scopes of work across their businesses.”
