FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (NYSE: CAE ) (TSX: CAE ) – CAE announced today at the 2018 Farnborough Airshow that it has sold five (5) CAE-built full-flight simulators (FFSs) – 3x Boeing 777X and 2x Boeing 737MAX – and two (2) flight training devices (FTDs) – one Boeing 777X and one Boeing 737MAX to support the growing pilot training needs of the airline. This order includes the world’s second airline-operated Boeing 777X full-flight simulator (FFS). The innovative CAE7000XR Series FFSs and CAE 500XR FTDs will be delivered at Qatar Airways’ training centre in Doha, Qatar, beginning in 2019.
