US had largest decline in CO2 emissions in the world for 9th time this century
This was kind of a shocker to me. Watching lamestrteam media I thought evil greedy America was ruining the whole solar system, and maybe the entire Milky Way as well.
Fracking an natural gas and less oil and coal is the reason. More wind and solar probably helped a bit too, but not mentioned in the article. The two worse polluters got worse.
