sounds like the busted cannon changed the course of history forever,including my buddy james k polk becoming president,whom i remember well,as the usa captures mexico city,resulting in the majority of mexicans believing the western usa belongs to them (maybe we should've kept all of mexico), winning the war over 100 years later via emigration to the lands they say they are entitled to - i look forward to the next era of history which will not be ruled by intrigue beyond puny humans tiny imagination
