Please note that the cream is for mild-to-moderate psoriasis. I'm glad they've had some success, it's always best for patients to have options.
However, as we know that psoriasis starts in the base layer of the skin, I suspect that this approach would not work on lesions that have caused damage over years of being plagued with the disease. For one thing, getting the cream to penetrate through plaques and scar tissue might be difficult. The systemic approach of something like Prurisol would seem to be better for people who unfortunately have had long-term lesions and/or extensive areas affected by it.
I wonder if they are going to try it on moderate-to-severe psoriasis?
