BELLEVUE, Wash., July 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Voip-Pal.com Inc. (“Voip-Pal”, “Company”) (OTCQB:VPLM) is pleased to announce that the Company is the subject of two recent articles appearing in two well-respected business publications, namely, IPWatchdog.com , and Flynn’s Harp , written by Mike Flynn, former editor and publisher of the Puget Sound Business Journal. Both articles have been posted in the news section of the Company website www.voip-pal.com
Voip-Pal, CEO, Emil Malak stated, “We are pleased to be receiving this media attention and we hope these articles can bring national attention to our Company and our fight to monetize our patented intellectual property.”
The IPWatchdog article addresses the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s (PTAB) delay in ruling on Apple’s Motion for Sanctions, filed in December 2017, one month after Voip-Pal received Final Written Decisions in two IPRs filed by Apple, in which the PTAB rejected Apple’s arguments and upheld the validity of Voip-Pal’s patents. A total of six other IPR challenges were filed against Voip-Pal, all of which ended in rulings by the PTAB in Voip-Pal’s favor.
Mr. Malak also said, “We respect the Final Written Decisions made by the PTAB judges, which were based purely on the technical merits in the challenges against our patents. We look forward to receiving the PTAB’s decision on the pending sanctions motion in due course.”
