Brave new world!
What is the value of quantum dots in transistors if they make possible big advances in quantum computing, in speed or in new manufacturing processes? Should the advanced materials company get a premium over the retail price of the quantum dots?
Retail prices are generally relative to their perceived value by the customer. The price of an IoT sensor would be miniscule compared to the price of the same QD in a quantum computer. I believe the value of the QD in the end product should be somehow proportional to the end products sale price, meaning each of QMCs clients could pay a far different price.
