In June 2018, Paris Aéroport welcomed 9.4 million passengers, an increase of 6.0% compared with June 2017. 6.5 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+6.3%) and 2.9 million through Paris-Orly (+5.4%). These data can be notably explained by the fact that Ramadan took place this year from 16 May to 14 June whereas in 2017, it lasted from 26 May to 24 June.
- International traffic (excluding Europe) was up (+11.3%), due to growth in all the destinations: Africa (+18.2%), the Middle East (+13.0%), Asia-Pacific (+10.1%), North America (+9.6%), the French Overseas Territories (+8.0%) and Latin America (+1.0%);
- European traffic (excluding France) was up by 4.6%;
- Traffic within France was down by 1.0%;
- The number of connecting passengers increased by 1.7%. The connecting rate stood at 21.6%, down by 0.9 points compared with June 2017.
Since the beginning of the year, Paris Aéroport passenger traffic has increased by 3.0%, with a total of 49.9 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has decreased by 3.7%. The connecting rate stands at 21.5%, down by 1.4 points.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 46.1%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 56.0% in June 2018 and by 30.9% since the beginning of the year, including, from May 2018, traffic of Antalya airport, in which TAV Airports took a stake.
Passenger traffic at Santiago de Chile Airport, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 9.3% in June 2018 and by 10.4% since the beginning of the year.
Passenger traffic at Amman Airport, 51%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 17.1% in June 2018 and by 7.6% since the beginning of the year.
