That is like the owners of Secretariat hoping that one day they would make $10,000 off his winnings just prior to the Triple Crown. They had the vision to see that they had perhaps the greatest racehorse of all time.
I see IPIX as a Secretariat of the biotech industry and as such I expect the same type of returns that the Penny family received from Secretariat.
Guess it all boils down to vision. As stated in "Patriot Games" if "aim small, miss small" is your cup of tea invest about $150 in IPIX and hope for $8750. If your vision is to aim big and reach out to grasp the golden ring, then you bet large and expect massive returns. I believe the trial data to date and the interest from 20 BP CDAs makes a very large investment in IPIX a prudent investment, especially at this stage of the game. Note: A large investment is subjective for each investor's financial situation and if all they can afford is $250 or so, then I applaud them for taking the risk.
$35 a share is somewhere around a buyout of $8B for IPIX. Hell, Prurisol for psoriasis alone, even with P2b clinical data being only slightly better than 200 dosage arm, IMO should result in revenues of $50B or so over the life of the Prurisol patent.
So when I see people valuing IPIX like a one drug, one indication, at a pre-clinical or pre-Phase I trial stage, with maybe one BP showing interest in them and they needing funds immediately to prevent bankruptcy, I shudder.
If one can't see the true value of IPIX, then IMO they don't deserve to be in this stock and make money from its success.
