Not trying to be a know it all, as I am not, but fact is when you short a stock on the real exchange, not penny stock, as I was never able so short penny stock as e trade does not allow it, But I do know you can short a stock on a offshore platform as most don’t care if you lose your house. Easy to check out. No myths their. But I have e trade, so I was allowed to short stocks on margins as well as you need a certain % of the amount you are shorting for in your day trading account on case it goes bad and you don’t cover. I have shorted many times. It’s same as buying for the price to go up, like we are doing with ANDI as longs or flippers, so shorting is just the opposite, you short and the brokerage takes other longs shares and let’s you borrow them, you hope the stock goes down, and at some point you have to give them back at whatever the pps is. Like buy 1000 worth on short, wait for pps to drop 50 % and then cover and you just made 500.00 profit.

So for your question, yes of course they will cover if ANDIs pps gets up on big news that they may know is not just pump news, but I think most have shorted near the top, somewhere around .03 or more. And just like us they will be willing to go red if the news is not good enough to bring this to at least .05 and hold their, I don’t exspect we see a squeeze until pps is between.04 to .06, and I really don’t think the short position is filled between to many regular guy’s like you and me. I think it is mostly consisting of naked shorting. But that is my opinion. But I know how the game is played. They make as much when the pps goes down as we do when the price goes up. The thing that gets exciting is how the pps starts to climb fast as they cover, as they need the shares available to cover their position, ( supply and demand) this causes other average joe investors to jump on the fast rising pps, as everyone wants to have a 1000% day, and more folks flood in buying as it keeps hitting circuit breakers on the way up due to volatility, this ANDI could run up and past 1.00 if that happens in a day. Just saying and hope it happens, but we need some real news for that to go that direction.

I know this is basic and not much info to people that know shorting, but if you have done this on the real exchange sorry to waist your time reading this.. the only reason I put this out their is it seems some folks really don’t know what can happen when shorts cover.

A good example is DRYS, check it out. The other year it short squeezed from I think the 3.00 to 4.00 level and ran up to 130.00 before it got halted. It won’t show 130.00 per share as the high as when it halted it was reset in the 60 or 70 dollar range. But it did hit 130.00 anyone that was in it knows I am straight shooter with that. ANDI has the same potential, just saying. But we need real news that is great to get it going.
