(Nasdaq: INWK ) (“InnerWorkings” or the “Company”) securities during the period between August 11, 2015 through May 7, 2018, inclusive (the “Class Period”). The complaint accuses the defendants of violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by virtue of the defendants’ failure to disclose during the Class Period that InnerWorkings’ financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2015, 2016, and 2017, as well as all interim periods, contained errors that required restating.
According to the complaint, following a May 7, 2018 announcement that many of the Company’s historical financial statements contained errors which required restatement, the value of InnerWorkings declined significantly.
