this article-the most recent article here- says usa produced over 15 mbopd in 2017,far ahead of saudi arabia or russia, far more than older articles!!!
since i'm not an oil specialist like some here i will have to absorb this info and continue searching-but 15.6 mbpd is so much higher than other articles maybe the oil guys here already know whats wrong or right re these numbers- does say and other liquids -and then proceeds to quote as oil- so maybe they are including the nat gas equivalent also

says a/oov 17 10.07 highest us oil pro yet says over 13 mbpd in us in 2017-not being an oil specialist i haven't discerned the reason for the apparent inconsistencies yet-just working thru this in real time

the usa did produce over 10 mopd in may as per one article i posted before
i know ryan has posted usa presently has infrastructure limitations which would hold its production to 12 mopd or less -but even so at 11 or 12
but judgement has been prophesied for russia's economy as in 1989-1991 that will leave russia's planes on the ground, implying problems w their oil production, sanctions or something beyond the natural is implied
I'm aware these things sometimes go in circles in a transitory period such as we are seeing now but oil restrictions by previous admin have been removed and so rigs sent over seas have reportedly been returning to the usa where i assume infrastructure will have to be improved to approach 12 mbopd
