Prior to joining Diversified Trust , Callis served as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley in Atlanta, advising high-net worth clients on a variety of subjects including estate and tax planning, charitable giving, investment management and various family office services. Previously, she was a family wealth associate at GenSpring Family Offices. Callis began her career as an attorney at The Bowden Spratt Law Firm, a specialized estate planning law firm in Atlanta.

Mary Frances earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Agnes Scott College and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Emory University. Additionally, she holds the CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
