I certainly hope you're right. I wonder could they possibly just reschedule CBD, regardless of how it's extracted. As I gather it, hemp oil is high in CBD, practically no THC and can be sold in all 50 States.
If they do reschedule it, I believe the banks would accept it as safe to deal with, and with no further legislation the entire industry could change as credit and debit cards could be used in legal cannabis stores, and various cannabis based enterprises could go to the bank for money like any other business.
While you may be right, I doubt that Trump will let it happen as you describe, rather he'll want credit for the change, so he'll issue an Executive Order telling them to do it, then he can take full credit.
