In most cases, I wouldn't be surprised if Analysts tell companies what they wish to ask in advance, I cannot prove it, but it's rare that companies don't answer answer Analysts questions pretty directly. On the other hands, when investors ask question they generally want to delve into the company in areas where the company considers it confidential. An old CEO I've spoken with would say such information wasn't yet ready for prime time, or he had other expressions that let investors know in a nice way that they would not yet discuss that subject matter. I really don't believe that many were angered by such answers, as long as they're done tactfully. Of course even when questions are answered directly, the depth of the answer often leaves the investor searching for more, but at least something new is learned.
I believe it's only a matter of time until the company has more to say, I just don't know how much longer it will be. The next quarterly should be issued mid August, while i'd hope something happens before then, it is the next time the company must issue something.
