Approx. 12 million seats per year are sold in the U.S. alone making this a great arena. I have 4 grand children, not only all in car seats, but seats for each car making a total of at least 8 seats, plus a couple that we have for when we take the grandkids with us.
Regarding the alcohol hardware/software portion, the NIH (National Institute of Health) states that 31% of overall driving fatalities are alcohol related. That figure only addresses the fatalities and does not even begin to address the additional life affecting physical and brain injuries that occur, but do not result in death or the emotional tragedies to all involved as a result of the incidences.
The uses are not only potentially relative to court mandated use after DUI convictions, but for parental use and commercial use by companies looking to protect themselves against the use of drinking and driving on the job.
This one in particular could also have an insurance company involvement as well. Again, could be every bit as profitable and relevant as the driving app if not more so. JMO
