May 9 - "Data analysis on B-OM phase 2 complete.
I considered it to be a bit of a summary PR. The last real PR with meaty bits was over nine weeks ago:
April 23 - "Evonik supply contract"
Here we are in the last week of Q2 with no Prurisol news and about two months from our last PR.
Here are the average monthly PRs:
40 PRs in 2015: 3.33 PR/month
41 PRs in 2016: 3.41 PR/month
39 PRs in 2017: 3.25 PR/month
9 PRs in 2018: 1.5 PR/month
The company has never gone two months without a PR in the past five years.
The company has only once gone more a month without a PR in the past five years.
Despite some extremely aggressive sale of shares to Aspire there seems to be little effort to buoy the stock with PRs.
Each passing week makes it odder and odder. There is almost certainly some word on pre-clinical work that could be used in a fluff PR: B-UP/UC pill? Kevetrin Oral formulation plans? Topical B tests? Even just a PR to elaborate on what they are looking for in terms of new office and lab space could be expected.
It's all very strange. I would expect there to be some update PR this week on where we are and why Prurisol results will be coming next quarter (assuming results don't drop tomorrow). If we don't get that by the end of next week I'm really going to start thinking we're dealing with some kind of quiet period. Every week that passes makes this exponentially more uncharacteristic of IPIX.
What that means is anyone's guess. I hope it's big whatever it is.
