Fiduciary Trust Continues Growing New York and Coral Gables Offices

NEW YORK and CORAL GABLES, Fla., June 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fiduciary Trust Company International, a global wealth manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, today announced that three wealth management veterans have joined the firm:

  • Isaac Barrocas has joined as senior portfolio manager, and Nita S. Vyas has started as trust counsel. They are both based in the New York office.
  • Leticia Hernandez has come on board as trust counsel in Fiduciary Trust’s South Florida office in Coral Gables.

“We consistently look for opportunities to add experienced wealth management professionals with a broad range of investment, planning and relationship management skills to our teams across the country,” said Lawrence A. Sternkopf, president and chief operating officer of Fiduciary Trust Company International. “Isaac, Nita, and Leticia have several decades of combined experience working with both U.S. and international private clients to devise, articulate, and implement customized, holistic strategies for protecting and growing wealth over the long term. Their impressive track records when it comes to cultivating relationships with high-net-worth clients, and helping them successfully navigate simple and complicated matters on their way to creating and carrying out legacies, will strengthen our service offering in the Greater New York and South Florida regions.”

Isaac Barrocas, Senior Portfolio Manager, New York

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Mr. Barrocas spent 12 years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in New York, most recently as senior portfolio manager and senior director in the International Wealth Management department. Ms. Hernandez holds a master of laws in taxation from the University of Miami and received her juris doctor from St. Thomas University. She also graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in business administration degree in finance. In 2013, Ms. Hernandez was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as one of its “Rising Stars” and was named one of the “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is a native of Miami, and is fluent in Spanish.
