"U.S. Conference of Mayors approve data protection

"The U.S. Conference of Mayors voted unanimously to approve a sponsored resolution from Henderson Mayor Debra March that calls for how private businesses and governments protect data.
According to a statement from the City of Henderson, the resolution calls for sweeping improvements on how data is protected from cyber and physical attacks, severe weather events and other types of catastrophic events that affect data centers.
Mayor March collaborated with Switch, a Nevada-based data center developer, to help write the language for the resolution."
