I would think (or at least hope) that the purchase order agreement for the sale of the SOL devices that Wefi has in place was either developed because the foreign government knows that Wefi has the capitol to build them or will be paying upfront for them wholly or partially.
I also think although in the same realm of technology (laptop, smartphone, tablets other?) that it may not be the laptop and solar technology we are after but more so the possible communication technology they may have.
Data (and voice) communication is as we know becoming more attainable and cheaper (Kepler) as well as others that are working on the technology that hopefully will be used with the UTOP devices.
A thought I have is that maybe we are going to be using another type of technology to provide super low cost communication service to the UTOP phones (devices) leading up to the use of satellite communication in the near future.
