I think this is Part IV of the Redspeed chronicles

Long Post for Investors:
Keep in mind I am not a storyteller and my fingers type faster than my brain, so excuse the typos and the "know vs now" type of stuff. When I publish my works, I'll proofread my crap.
Wish I was a storyteller though, super marvel of those that can. I can't even remember a dam joke 10 minutes after I hear it. People tell me I am funny. Maybe funny looking as I don't remember any jokes.
Dennis brought up story telling on the podcast this week. Dennis is the sharpest guy I've ever met in his field. This is a guy that exudes confidence, fun and engagement. I mentioned I spoke to him for an hour on the phone early on. I own him a lot of leads of fortune companies and agencies. They are coming if they haven't found their merry way yet.
I was happy to sit next to him at dinner as I am introverted and I know we wouldn't be staring at each other all night.
Redspeed: Good shrimp Dennis?
Dennis: Yeah.
Redspeed: Would you like a meatball?
Dennis: I'm good right now.
Redspeed: A little noisy in here tonight you think?
Dennis: What?
Redspeed: A little noisy in here?
Dennis: What your biggest fear?
Redspeed: Nevermind.
The good news is the story didn't go that way.
Far from it.
Dennis started up a dating app company before he joined nFusz if I remember right. Everything he told me made sense and he knew the industry in much more detail than I could ever do any research on and I'm not bad on that end.
Of course there is always someone in the room (who me?) that would ask the question that would get the answer "I can't talk about that".
I got that response to some of my questions and I'm sure others did through the night.
We try. I'm glad to hear that response. Would be sketchy if they didn't draw the line somewhere.
At one point the introverted me got up and sat next to Jeff. He's the nicest guy in the world. He is super sharp. I'd like this guy to manage my investments, taxes and sit at a Cubs home opener with.
As I said, he grew up close to where I live now by coincidence. I go biking around Argonne National Laboratory often which is close to his roots.
Check out Jeff's background on linkedin. This guy could do anything and be anyplace. From our conversation I interpreted that his comp, like Rory is mostly share based. He never said that, but I could tell. Now why in the world would someone hang around a company, by all accounts of many BW on Hub is doomed if they could command big dollars elsewhere. That just doesn't add up.
This post is getting way too long. My next conversation was with Rory who at this point was across the table. If anyone is interested, let me know.
